Our approach & methodology
The Review is only as useful as it is trustworthy. Our method is deliberately plain: start from the recommendation, follow it to what it physically requires, source every claim, and stay strictly within the subject area the record supports.
How we work
Four principles govern every page and briefing the Review publishes.
Start from the recommendation
We begin with Better Health for London's actual aims, not with a product or a position — and ask what each requires to be delivered.
Follow it to the kit
We trace each aim to the physical equipment, estate and monitoring technology its delivery depends on, setting by setting.
Source every claim
Figures are attributed; we do not assert authority the public record does not evidence, and we say so plainly where a claim is reconstructed.
Stay in our lane
We keep strictly to London-wide health infrastructure. We are not a supplier, a procurement service, or a political actor.
The standards we hold to
About the methodology
Are you affiliated with the original London Health Commission?
We are a civic continuation in spirit and subject, honouring the Commission's Better Health for London legacy. We are independent and do not claim formal affiliation or authority the public record does not evidence.
Do you recommend or sell equipment?
No. We examine what the recommendations require in equipment terms. We do not sell equipment, take commercial placements, or endorse specific suppliers.
How do you choose what to cover?
We cover the equipment and infrastructure most decisive to delivering Better Health for London's aims across the four care settings — prioritising what is under-examined and within a city's control.
