The Better Health for London programme is the London Health Commission’s primary public health improvement framework. Published in 2014 and regularly reviewed, it established 10 evidence-based recommendations for improving health outcomes across all 33 London boroughs.
The programme addressed health disparities across income brackets, ethnic communities, and geographic areas — with a particular focus on the health inequality gap between inner London boroughs and more affluent areas.
